Our AI Principles
Published: June 2026 · High Impact Group Pty Ltd
We are an AI-native group. Every venture we build runs on artificial intelligence at its core, not bolted on. That makes how we use it a question of character, not compliance. These ten principles govern every company in the High Impact Group portfolio.
Why we build
1.AI serves people, never the reverse
We build AI to expand what people can do, not to replace them or make them answer to a machine. The human stays in the chair.
2.Make the expensive ordinary
We use AI to collapse the cost and complexity of capabilities once reserved for the few, and put them within reach of the many. More accessible, more affordable, more available.
3.Lift the human condition
We measure our work by whether it improves people’s potential, their livelihoods and their judgement, not by how much it automates them out of the picture. The capability we sell, we also turn toward the public good.
How we build
4.Augment judgement; don’t automate it away
AI is at its best informing a decision, not making it. We design for the moment a person weighs the evidence and chooses, because judgement matters more than frameworks.
5.Architecture, not afterthought
Safety, honesty and accountability are built in from the foundations, not added later as features.
How we behave
6.Truth over fluency
We hold our AI to a higher standard of honesty than the systems it replaces. No invented facts, no confident nonsense. Better to say “I don’t know” than to make something up.
7.Be transparent about the machine
People should know when they’re working with AI, what it can and can’t do and, where it matters, how it reached its conclusion.
8.A human is always accountable
For every system we ship, a named person is responsible for what it does. “The AI decided” is never an excuse.
9.Data dignity
The data people trust us with is theirs, not ours. We’re clear about what we collect, we use it only for what we said we would and we never use your information to train AI models or for any purpose you didn’t sign up for. Our privacy policy spells out the detail, platform by platform.
How we keep faith
10.Stay current, and be willing to course-correct
AI moves faster than any rulebook. We revisit our assumptions on a schedule, and we’ll change, constrain or switch off a system that stops serving people, even a profitable one.
Each venture in the portfolio publishes its own responsible AI approach: more specific, more technical, rooted in what that platform actually does. But every one of them sits within these ten principles.
